Maksym Sliazin — SCMI headmaster and its initiator. For many years he was a music leader in one of the biggest Baptist churches in Ukraine. In 2014, after the outbreak of war in Pervomaisk, he came to Poland with his family. Now he is leading the Russian-speaking community of First Baptist Church in Gdansk. He’s the coordinator of work among Ukrainians in Poland by Council of Baptist Church Union in Poland. He is studying in Lvov in Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary. He is Oksana’s husband and father of two daughters: Eugenia and Ruslana.

Anna Bilinska — deputy headmaster of SCMI. For 20 years she was a mathematics teacher. When God called her for ‘Ukrainian service’ she left her job at school to get involved in the creating and functioning of SCMI. She has gained qualifications for teaching Polish as aforeign language, and now she teaches Polish to SCMI missionaries. She also supports her husband in his pastoral service and together they study Marriage guidance and therapy. Her husband- Slawomir- is a pastor in the Gdansk church. They have two daughters: Dominika and Julia.
